Camera kits
Indoor PRO and Outdoor PRO: an Axis camera with the Visitor Counter licence included, pre-configured.
Camera kits for Vicodis →All Vicodis people counting products share one idea: a counting app for Axis cameras that does everything on the camera. Start with the base system at the door, then add people counting add-ons for several cameras, for vehicles or for checkout queues when the site needs them.
The people counting software at the heart of every installation. It counts entries and exits at a doorway, shows how many visitors are inside, keeps the history and exports reports as CSV or PDF — all on the camera.
For sites with several entrances, floors or halls. Up to 32 satellite cameras each count their entrance; the master camera collects their counts, shows all entrances in one dashboard and turns them into one occupancy figure, a zone overview and one capacity limit for the whole site.
Vehicle counting with counting lines, one licence for two applications. Vicodis Traffic counts the traffic volume on a street per direction and class. Vicodis Parking counts arrivals and departures at the gates of a car park and derives the free spaces. No licence plates, no sensor per bay.
For checkouts, ticket desks and service counters. One camera watches up to four queues, shows how many people are waiting at each and estimates the waiting time — without following anyone. When a queue grows too long, it can call for another checkout.
For trade show stands. One camera on the back wall counts the passers-by in up to three aisles and the visitors on the stand, and puts both in relation: the conversion rate per hour, day and fair. Available to buy as an add-on or as part of a rental set for the fair.
For screens, steles and shop windows. The camera measures how many people stood in front of the screen, when and for how long — to the second, as a contact log you can match with your playout schedule. No tracking, no faces, no images.
What goes with the software: cameras with the licence included, or everything as a mobile set for a limited time.

One licence per camera, bound to its MAC address and paid once — no subscription, no cloud fees, no renewal. Zone, Vehicle, Queue and Booth are add-ons on top of the base licence and can be added later with a new key, without reinstalling anything. Security updates are free; Vicodis Care adds support and new software versions on request. All figures are on prices for Vicodis.
Yes. The Visitor Counter is the base licence that every camera running Vicodis needs, even on a camera that only counts vehicles. Zone, Vehicle, Queue and Booth are add-ons that unlock further functions on top of it. You buy the base licence once per camera and add the modules your site actually needs.
Yes. Add-on licences can be added at any time without reinstalling the app or losing data. You receive a new licence key for the camera that includes the extra module, paste it into the dashboard and the new functions appear. The counts collected so far stay where they are.
Yes, with the Vehicle add-on. A camera can count people and vehicles over the same counting line, for example at a driveway that pedestrians also use, and keeps both figures apart. Most sites still use separate cameras, because a doorway and a car park entrance rarely share one field of view.
