Already have a suitable Axis camera? Then you only need the licence. It is a one-time licence: people counting on that camera, bound to the camera’s MAC address, with no expiry and no renewal. It includes audience measurement for digital signage at no extra cost.

Vicodis Care
Support for one year. Security updates are free for every licence, with or without Care, for at least five years as the Cyber Resilience Act requires. New software versions with additional features are part of Care and supplied on request. The first year is included with every kit and licence. Already have an Axis camera with AXIS Object Analytics? We issue a free 30-day trial licence for it, with the full feature set and no payment details. If Vicodis fits, you order the licence for the same camera and counting simply continues.
Nothing is charged when the trial ends, and there is no automatic switch to a paid licence.

Invoice on delivery
Kits arrive pre-configured, licence keys by email. The invoice comes with the delivery.

Renting instead of buying
For events, seasonal sites or a pilot before a larger purchase, Vicodis is also available as a complete mobile counting set on a monthly basis. Everything about it is on renting a mobile counting system.

Questions about prices

Is there a subscription?
No. Every licence is a one-time licence per camera: you pay once and it never expires. There is no subscription, no cloud fee and no charge per user or per report. The only recurring item is Vicodis Care for support; it is optional and never renewed automatically, and security updates are free anyway.

What does a complete people counting system cost?
For one entrance, the cost is one camera kit, which already includes the licence. Your own Axis camera only needs the licence. Several entrances add a kit or licence per door plus the Zone add-on on the master. Installation anywhere in Germany is arranged through external installers and quoted separately.

Can I test Vicodis before I buy?
Yes, if you have an Axis camera with AXIS Object Analytics. We issue a free 30-day trial licence for that camera with the full feature set and no payment details. If Vicodis fits, you order the licence for the same camera and counting continues with all settings and the history from the trial.
